Mama was on a trip and Papa was staying home for the day.
Caecilia: “Are you going to work today?”
Papa: “No.”
Benedict: “Papa, if you went to work, we would just sneak candy.”

Papa: “Caecilia, please get me a blanket so Scholastica can take a nap.”
Caecilia: “I got a pillow and blanket.”
Papa: “She doesn’t need a pillow.”
Caecilia: “But you’re not a comfortable man!”

Benedict: “Papa, wook – I have pajama pants on under my pants.”

Papa: “Why?”

Benedict: “Since I don’t have to deal wif putting dem on when it’s night.”

Papa: “Benedict, why are you crying? ”
Benedict: “Because Margaret is singing Oompa Loompa, and it’s gonna make me have nightmares.”

Papa: “Caecilia, stop sucking your thumb.”
Caecilia: “I can’t help it.”
Papa: “Why not?”
Caecilia: “My body makes me feel like I need to.”

Karol: “Uh…where are their parents? Kids running around in the parking lot is not recommended.”

Margaret: “I can’t find my teeth.”

Papa: “Close your eyes.”
Benedict: “Den how can I hear you?”

Karol: “I had these in Italy!”
Papa: “They probably don’t have Piggly Wiggly in Italy.”
Caecilia: “Italy people can’t reach Piggly Wiggly!”

Karol: “What makes people get bald? Do they cut their hair too much or something?”
Papa: “It just happens.”
Karol: “I’m not going to take drugs, then.”
