Papa gets ready to wipe Norb’s runny nose.

Norb: “I wipe it…wif my tongue.”

Schola to Norb: “An old man is what YOU will be…and an old lady is what I will be.”

Mama to Norb: “Show me what a priest does.”

Norb: “OK.” Jumps down from her lap eagerly.

Everyone watches in anticipation of a clever demonstration: elevation or “Let us pray”, etc.

Norb jumps around and exclaims “Boing! Boing! Boing!”

Peter, looking at St. Nicholas’ bones: “There’s a window!”

Papa: “That’s a book. Someday someone might make your bones into a book.”

Caecilia: “…if you’re good…”

Norb comes into my Papa’s office: “Have guts?”
Papa: “No. Did you eat breakfast?”
Norb: “Yes.”
Papa: “What did you have?”

Mama: “What is that?”

Norbert: “Mittopappus.”
